Could you please help me understand whether Zakat is due on my gold? I own gold that has reached the Nisab threshold. It is not hoarded — I wear it daily, not to avoid Zakat, but purely for adornment.

Regarding gold jewelry, the ruling is tied to the intention at the time of purchase:
— If it was purchased with the intention of adornment (wearing), then no Zakat is due on it — even if it has reached the Nisab, and even if it is not worn throughout the year.
— If it was purchased with the intention of saving, hoarding, or investment, then it is subject to Zakat — even if the woman wears it regularly.
The ruling is entirely determined by the intention at the time of purchase.
